The money raised through business-related activities is used for the group’s social and community activities which constitute the core of the project. This is a joint project with The Ministry of Immigrant Absorption.
"Link" This innovative project offers an array of online services catering to the various needs of Russian-speaking youth, including social and mental support via a one-on-one chat, youth forum, and a bi-lingual (Hebrew and Russian) information center. The forum is managed by at-risk Russian-speaking teens who undergo a special empowerment and training program, as part of which they initiate local community projects. This is a joint venture with The Ministry of Immigrant Absorption and Elem. “Back from the Edge” This project is the first “holistic” drop-out prevention framework for immigrant high-school students operating in Israel. “Back from the Edge” encompasses students, their parents, and relevant school personnel as its target audience. This project offers each one of the groups specially designed programs aimed at decreasing high-school drop out rates among the teens. The project is implemented in joint partnership with the "Immigrant Parents Forum". Lema'an - on behalf of This project constitutes a unique leadership development program that encourages and focuses on civic empowerment and social involvement. The first segment is dedicated to group facilitation, lectures and work-shops, while the second offers each participant an opportunity to develop and implement his/her own community project. |
